Headteacher’s Message

I am delighted to welcome you to Crayke CE Primary School, a truly special place where our Christian values are at the heart of everything we do. As you explore our website, I hope you gain a true sense of our vibrant school community, where children, staff and families grow together with confidence.

At Crayke, we nurture compassionate, confident and resilient learners who are encouraged to follow their unique pathways and become the best versions of themselves. We are proud to offer a friendly, inclusive, and supportive environment where respect, friendship, forgiveness and determination guide our daily life and learning.

Our school community is enriched by a diverse range of children, including those with special educational needs and disabilities and we are committed to ensuring every child achieves their full potential. We work closely with our dedicated Governing Body and St. Cuthbert’s Church to foster strong spiritual, moral, social and cultural development rooted in our Christian ethos.

We provide a broad and balanced curriculum, designed to inspire and challenge all children, supported by exciting outdoor learning opportunities through our OPAL programme. We value communication, literacy and numeracy as the foundations of learning and celebrate achievements across a wide range of subjects and extracurricular activities.

We warmly invite parents and carers to engage fully with school life—whether through discussions about your child’s progress, participating in events, or sharing your views to help shape our school’s future. We believe in listening to our children and families to continuously improve and grow as a school community.

Please do come and visit us to experience the positive and welcoming atmosphere at Crayke CE Primary School. Contact us to arrange a meeting and tour—I look forward to welcoming you in person.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs Judi Jackson
