Further to yesterday’s parent guide, I am now able to provide some further information regarding school lunches. We are currently unable to provide hot meals due to the nature of our family service, however we can provide a packed lunch if required. This will include a sandwich with either ham, cheese or tuna (Monday – Thursday) and sausage or egg (Friday). There will also be a selection of other items available including a savoury snack (e.g. pizza/sausage roll/cheese pastry) vegetable sticks, a piece of fruit, cake/tray bake and a carton of juice.
There will be a cost of £2.65 per day, or £13.25 per week for children who usually pay for a meal. We would ask you to commit to paying for meals for a three week block and you can then review after this time for the remainder of the half term, should you wish. Alternatively children are welcome to bring in their own packed lunch from home if required.
We really hope to be able to resume the provision of hot meals as soon as possible.
