We have received information from North Yorkshire County Caterers with regards to the provision of meals during the time that school is closed. Children who currently receive a free school meal will be entitled to receive a packed lunch until further notice, whilst school has the provision to able to do so. To be clear, this applies to all children currently in Class 1 and Class 2 as well as to any children in Class 3 or 4 who are eligible for free school meals. If you are not sure whether or not this applies to you, please contact school for clarification.
In order to help the provision of meals run as smoothly as possible I am proposing that if you wish to have a packed lunch provided for your child, you will need to make contact with us no later than 9:15am on Monday 23 March to let us know your requirements for the week ahead. If we do not hear from you by this time, we will assume that you do not wish to take up the offer.
Meals will be in a named bag and will be available to collect from school daily at 11:45am.
