On Monday 4th November, children in class 3 will have a very special topic day in school, with the rare opportunity to be a part of recycling in action.
Please could any plastic that’s collected over the half term be recyclable, with a 1,2 or 4 inside the recycling triangle symbol only. We also ask that it is fully clean.
The day is set to be very interactive, with lots of opportunities for children to learn about plastic pollution in rivers, how recycling works, how it can help solve the plastic problem and also how flooding is managed in different parts of the world. All of these will be done through a variety of exciting hands-on activities.
