East Barnby 2019 – Day Four Update

Unfortunately as the River Esk was on flood alert (not entirely surprising), it was not possible to take our canoeing trip into Whitby Harbour on Wednesday. This did however present the opportunity for canoeing on Scaling Dam and skiing on the centre’s artificial slope.
As you will see below, the sea fret resulted in some atmospheric conditions that you wouldn’t usually associate with June!
