I am now in a position to provide additional information about why the school needed to close this morning.
Unfortunately, Mrs. Dobson was involved in a road traffic accident. However, I am pleased to inform you that following an assessment at hospital, everything is ok with Lois and her baby.
The aforementioned factor when combined with another member of teaching staff not being able to get to school this morning, resulted in the need to close the school at short notice. I can only apologise for the inconvenience this caused.
Could Class 1 parents please bring in waterproof trousers and boots everyday for their children (until the weather dries up) – thank you.
