Easter Information & Crayke Open Gardens

Our Easter Service will take place on Monday 26th March at 1.15pm at St. Cuthbert’s Church. Everyone is welcome to join us in our Easter celebration.
As usual, there will be an Easter egg decorating competition in school on Thursday 29th March. Children will be provided with a plastic egg/s (as egg based allergies would not allow hard boiled eggs to be used). The children need to come up with an egg-cellent idea (sorry I couldn’t resist) and bring all the materials they will need to decorate their egg into school. In the interest of fairness, nothing should be prepared please. Parents/carers are invited to come into school to look at the egg display from 2.15pm – at 2.30pm all eggs should be taken home.
There will be a variety of other activities taking place over the course of the day. If you have any queries, please ask your class teacher.

A fantastic weekend has been planned on 7th & 8th April, when the village will open its gardens to the public. There will be a range of activities in the Sports Hall, together with exhibitions in the Church, with food being served all weekend. Crayke School will be opening their outdoor classroom and holding a tombola.
To support the aforementioned, there will be a non-uniform day on Friday 23rd March. Could your child please bring a small tombola prize into school – thank you.
