We would like to say a big thank you to all the parents/carers who donated over 80 toys to the appeal. The toys were originally going to be dropped off at the local hub in Easingwold, but due to the size of the collection, Minster FM Breakfast Show presenters Ellie Brennan and Ben Fry, came to pick them up in person.
Miss Lawrie, the teacher who organised the appeal at school, said “we were overwhelmed by the generosity of our parents and children – this really is the true spirit of Christmas”.
The Minster FM Toy Appeal is now in its fourth year and distributes toys to charities and disadvantaged families across the York and North Yorkshire region for Christmas.
