The annual participation of the Crucial Crew project organised by North Yorkshire Emergency Services and run by the police takes place on Monday, 18th November. This is a countywide programme of “citizenship”, preparing children for the experiences of the wider world and is designed to teach older children about personal safety and how to react appropriately to emergency situations. This is for Year 6 children only and a packed lunch will be required by all children. A ‘sensible’ snack to have at 9.45 a.m. would be appreciated by the children, as they will not be having lunch until 1.00 p.m. This should be put in their coat pockets for ease of access. The coach will be leaving school at 8.40 a.m. so children should arrive promptly.
A voluntary contribution of £3.50 per child is asked towards the cost of the coach. Any child requiring travel sickness medication should place the appropriate dose in a named envelope. Please send a confirmation email.
