World Book Day is Thursday, 7th March. This year we will be celebrating this event by sharing favourite books. Staff will be bringing their favourite children’s books in and sharing them with their classes and Mrs. Manfield will be reading a selection of her favourite books in assembly.
We are also asking children to bring in one or two of their favourite books to share with their classmates. For example, an old favourite from when they were younger and one that they have enjoyed more recently.
In conjunction with this event, we have also purchased a new selection of story books that will be suitable for younger children through to Year 6 and also some challenging readers for the older children.
