I wonder how many of you have tried to help your child with maths at home only to be told, “No, we don’t do it like that, you’re doing it wrong!”
Well…… On Wednesday 26th June 6.30-7.30pm ( in the Hall) we will be holding a Maths Information Evening.
An opportunity to learn how calculations are taught step by step through the progression from Reception to Y6.
Staff will be sharing the methods used to teach the children – its an hour (unless you are a Maths teacher) all parents really cant afford to miss. It doesn’t matter if your child is in Reception or Y5 (Y6 parents may feel its better to wait till secondary information evenings, but you too are welcome) It’s a fantastic (pressure free way, we promise) to learn how to help your child at home.
