CRAYKE SCHOOL OUTDOOR ADVENTURE – SAT 13th JULY

We are very excited to announce details of the Crayke School “Outdoor Experience & Sleepover” to be held on Saturday 13th July, this is an opportunity for parents and children from Crayke school to spend the afternoon together having fun, and for those that want to, a night camping at a location in Gilling Woods.  If you have never camped before but fancy a “go”, please ask Keren/Ronnie as there are people who have spare equipment or space in their tents.  There are also 20 bunk-beds available in the bunk house (sleeping bags & pillows required) – these will be charged at £10/adult and £2.50 per child – these will be sold on a first come first served basis.

The plan for the day is as follows: –

1.30 – 2.30pm – Arrive after lunch and set up camp.

2.30pm – there will be a Family Scavenger/treasure hunt, with the aid of a map find certain points located in the wood and answer questions – ideal for the whole family!

5pm – Start to BBQ (you will need to provide your own food and drink, BBQ’s will be provided for cooking).

A fire will be built for cooking marshmallows (donated by CHASA).

After tea a family rounders match will be played.

There is fishing available.

There are also facilities available (shower, toilets and kitchen) please click on the link to have a look at the Lakeside Bunk House, however, we will not be using the TV room facilities!

Should you decide to camp the night you will need to provide all your own equipment – however for those of you who have never camped before please ask other parents for any spare equipment or for sleeping space in a tent (one parent has a tent that can sleep 16), some families are pro’s at camping, others have not slept under canvas for years! Or to reserve your bunk bed please contact Keren.

Please respond via the items to respond to link on the webpage, it is important that we know numbers, how many are camping and if you are require space to camp in someone else tent.  There will be a notice going up outside school.

Hopefully, you can join us for part or all of this experience.

Any questions please contact Ronnie (ronnie@nerotraining.com) or Keren (keren@theflowershopeasingwold.co.uk
