Classes 1 and 2 are visiting the Scarborough Sea Life Centre as part of their topic work on Thursday, 11th July, together with a fun afternoon on the beach. We will be leaving school at 9.00 a.m. and will be back at school for 3.30 p.m.
Children will need:
A packed lunch – no cans, fizzy drinks or glass bottles, please, in a small rucksack.
A small snack – kept separate from their packed lunch. This will be eaten when we arrive in Scarborough.
Travel sickness tablets, if necessary – in a named envelope and given to their class teacher.
School jumpers should be worn, along with suitable trousers for the beach (not jeans). Please make sure your child has a raincoat, just in case, together with a bucket and spade, hat and sun cream.
The voluntary contribution for the visit is £8.00 for each child (the cost of the trip totals £415 – £10.64 per child – which includes the coach and entrance fee). The outstanding balance will be paid for out of school fund.
Please email your permission for your child to take part in this visit – or send a note with your contribution if this is more convenient.
